Foley’s Townhouse House Rules update February 1st 2026

1) Only guests named on the guest register (names provided at check in) will be permitted to enter the guesthouse to stay overnight. Any guests attempting to gain entry to the Townhouse, not named on the guest register will not be permitted to enter. This is a fire safety regulation. Therefore, it is very important for all guests to be named at the time of check in.

2) Our bar will cease serving drinks to guests at the time at which dinner service ends each night. This time can vary, however once the restaurant is closed, we can no longer serve alcohol to any guests of the Townhouse.

3) If we receive a noise complaint from a guest about another room/ other guests of the Townhouse we will respectfully request that all noise ceases immediately. If this request is not met, we will ask the guests that are making the noise to leave the Townhouse even if this means checking out early.

4) If a guest returns to the Townhouse and has lost the key to their room, we can help them to gain entry to their room using a master key. However, the guest will need to provide ID to prove that they are the named guest of that room. And a lost key charge fee of €150 will be applied to their room bill.

5) We have published our damages policy on our website, and it is included in the terms and conditions of any booking for the Townhouse if guests would like to refer to this. Where property of the Townhouse is damaged by a guest, a damage fee will be applied, in line with our damages policy.
